What’s Been Up with Apatar

Filed under: Data Integration, ETL — Alena Semeshko @ 2:30 am

It’s been a while since I posted, eh? I probably missed out on a bunch of data integration-related events while away. Well, on the bright side though, this blog acquired a fresh new look (bummer! now you don’t have to think long to feel the affiliation to Apatar).

Anyway, while I was gone, the Apatar team released a new connector to Vertica Analytic Database and completed the the first step of its code refactoring.

And another thing I couldn’t walk past is the Dell-Salesforce deal. Dell Inc. will be using Force.com development platform to build software for its “entire global workforce”, a deal that claims to be the largest ever for Salesforce, according to Marc Benioff. Salesforce won’t stop growing any time soon, nope.
